YWNC Coach Chris Snyder named N.C.Swimming’s Senior Coach of the Year

Coach Chris Snyder of the Y of WNC Piranhas was named Senior Coach of the Year for N. C. Swimming at the NCS House of Delegates meeting in Cary, NC during their fall meeting (September 2011). Cch Chris is beginning his 8th year with the YWNC Piranhas. He was previously the Director of Competitive Swimming for the Montgomery Alabama YMCA for 15 years previous to joining the Piranhas.
The senior Piranhas, under Cch Chris’ guidance, improved all year long capping off their year with 3 Olympic Trial cuts at US Junior Nationals. Additionally, national competitions saw the Piranhas with a 25th Team finish at LC-Y Nationals and 32nd Team finish at USA Junior Nationals.
